Paragraph 1 :
- The first and the foremost virtues of a good neighbour is being ethical in the way they live their life. One can’t imagine living next to hooligans and vandals who may not only be a scourge for the society, but also jeopardise the tranquillity of life, living in an ever-existing trepidation of uncertainties.
- In addition to that, a virtuous neighbour should be hospitable and welcoming in nature, whom we can turn to during harsh phases of life. Humanity lies in being humane and one of the most significant criteria of having humanity is to back one another in exigencies.
- It is tried and tested as to our miseries and pains assuage just by sharing it with other people and one can’t always share the intricate details of a situation with the immediate family members, hence, good neighbours emerge as a silver lining in such cases.
Paragraph 2 :
- Talking about other qualities of good neighbours, they should be trustworthy and reliable when it comes to leaving children or younger members of the family in an exigent situation. Many a time, certain situations prevail where children can’t be taken along, here a good neighbour comes to the forefront and takes charge of children. In addition to that, one has to be significantly vigilant when it comes to the upbringing of children.
- An uncouth neighbour is not only execrable and abominable for the people living nearby, but credulous children have a proclivity of getting a hue of what they see around them.
Conclusively, we may say that there are a myriad of qualities of a good neighbour and is subjective too, however, one needs to be watchful, and if needed, even pernickety of where one chooses to dwell.
