  1. Turning in Your Essay

    Turning in Your Essay. When you’re done working, review your work. Remember! For Signal Check assignments, you have to get a Signal Check before you can turn in your paper. Click the Turn In button to submit your essay to your teacher.

  2. Viewing Submissions - Turnitin

    To view Spot Check submissions, first press the Collect Spot Check button on the Assignment Overview page. From the Assignment Overview page, you can access student essays by clicking Student Progress or Student Work in the sidebar.

    Revision Assistant can automatically generate an Excel spreadsheet called the "Assignment Report" that allows you to see your students’ rubric-trait-level scores, and the class’ median and average scores on an assignment.

  4. Viewing Your Assignments - Turnitin

    Follow the steps below to see how to navigate to your assignment pages and to understand what you'll find there. Log in to revisionassistant.com. You'll be taken to your homepage first. Any assignments that your teacher has set for your class will be displayed on your homepage in little rectangles. These rectangles are called "assignment tiles."

    Submitting to an assignment. Log in to your university's Learning Management System (e.g., Blackboard or Moodle) the way you normally do. Navigate to your course and list of assignments. Launch the assignment you'd like to submit. Once your assignment opens, you will see a header with your assignment title along with the other assignment info.

  6. Writing Your Essay - Turnitin

    After one Signal Check on a Signal Check assignment (blue header) or after you've written about 300 characters on an Expansion Pack assignment (teal header), you'll get a pop-up saying you can use Proofread Mode. This mode will check your essay for spelling and grammar errors.

  7. Viewing Assignments - Turnitin

    For Signal and Spot Check assignments, you can all see an overview of students' scores on the assignment. Click Student Work to review you students submitted work and current drafts. For more on how to check out your students' essays and progress, see Viewing Submissions.

    To understand how your similarity report has been generated, you can access further information from the in-app Turnitin Viewer. From the assignment information page, tap View Submission to access the Turnitin Viewer.

    Accessing digital receipts. Your digital receipt confirms your submission and details the following: You will not be emailed your digital receipt for an iOS submission. The email sent is simply a confirmation of your submission. Tap View Digital Receipt from the assignment information page.

  10. Adding Turnitin to a Moodle Assignment

    Turnitin enables seamless integration with Moodle. Once your administrator has configured Turnitin for your organization, you can use Turnitin as a part of your normal Moodle workflow using Moodle assignments. Your administrator can set defaults that will apply to all assignments you create.
